AUTHORATATIVE DATA SOURCES (Data only): GNS modelled tsunami hazard for the Wellington City council (Burbridge et al. 2021) and provided coastal tsunami hazard maps for the Proposed District Plan. Further data changes were made as part of the District Plan Review Process. SUMMARY OF DATA COLLECTION (Data only): 0.05m was considered to be the limit of acceptable nuisance flooding that could be managed by existing stormwater controls. Water depths of less than 0.05m were removed from Burbridge et al. 2021 modelled data, and the output raster data smoothed to create the Coastal Tsunami Hazard Overlay. All post-processing of raster data for layers is consistent with methodology used for the WCC Proposed District Plan.",
