Service Description: Dial Before you dig is an online service which enables anyone undertaking excavation works to obtain information on the location of underground pipes and cables in and around any proposed dig site; helping to protect themselves and valuable assets during these works. It provides a ‘one stop shop’ for contractors to communicate about their planned activities with utilities and asset owners. WCC services displayed: Heritage areas, Heritage trees, Maori Sites, Closed Landfill, Electoral Hoarding Areas, Parks sewer, electrical, irrigation, gas and water lines, Parks Significant Trees, Barbeques, Artwork, and Community Fruit Trees. Wellington Water services displayed: Stormwater, Wastewater and Water services. Wellington Water data contained within this service is for Dial Before You Dig purposes only.
