The layer was created in September 2012 and should be regularly updated as per the master spreasheet(See weeds & coastal manager, Parks & Gardens). This layer provides WCC operational staff a spatial illustration of where not to spray, and are therefore exceptions to the usual schedule.
Description: The parks horticulture layer has been created by combining the parks hedge, shrub, wetland, botanic collection and bedding layers in order to produce a single horticulture operational layer. The layer is primarily used for parks and gardens operational purposes whereby team name, level of service and frequency attributes are added to each feature. This layer is intended to replace the existing stand -alone datasets listed above. The layer is updated as and when required by GIS staff in conjunction with operational managers.

Description: This dataset contains all Contract areas used by Wellington City Council. The development of this dataset was undertaken to allow Contract areas to be spatially represented, and for use in Infrastructure projects.
